NAI Horizon Building, Phoenix
An award winning, small commercial office building in East Phoenix. Dramatic use of exterior shade lattice, natural daylight and open ceilings secured several major design awards and attracted tenants even in down market times.
While employed at Pinnacle Diversified, LLC, Scott O’Connor developed the office building at 2944 North 44th Street for occupancy by NAI Horizon, a real estate brokerage and management company, and its affiliates, along with a complement of speculative office space on the ground floor.
O’Connor proposed an avant garde design to draw attention to the property, and to make it appealing for professionals in the design trade. With Jones Studio as architect, the project delivered on its mission and has stayed substantially full since new.
Further, it won a series of awards form the local and regional chapters of the AIA, Western International Design Awards, and Valley Forward Association.
