Paradise Valley Country Club
Paradise Valley Country Club redeveloped its clubhouse after 50 years. Scott O'Connor was intimately involved from the very beginning of this effort, continuing through design, member approval, financing and construction. The Board of Directors awarded him an unprecedented Director of the Year Award during construction.
When Paradise Valley Country Club decided to rebuild its clubhouse facilities in 2003, Scott O’Connor was selected as one of 4 members to run the project.
It was an unqualified success, opening in 2005. Phasing was managed so that the club remained open for all but a few short weeks during the project duration. O’Connor not only worked with the Core Team on design and construction, but completed two key property sales for PVCC that helped finance the project. He also designed the project financing plan, which the members overwhelmingly approved.
