Mountain Park Health Center – Maryvale
37,500 square foot conversion from retail and multiplex theater to single tenant medical occupancy.
SteepleRock successfully converted a former multiplex cinema and strip center, which had both failed, into a modern community health center in an underserved neighborhood. The project was funded with Stimulus Grant money from the federal government.
Sloped floors were filled, and the structural walls between theaters remained, but for openings added in the floor plan.
All the mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems were replaced, lighting is all LED, plumbing included solar hot water, and the entire facade was replaced.
The neighborhood takes great pride in the turnaround this project represents.
